Eta Chapter Testimonials

“Through AGR I gained a network and support system in and outside of the house. AGR pushed me to get involved and be a leader on and off-campus by instilling motivation and providing the mentorship to navigate the path. That motivation and mentoring travels with you throughout your time in the house and into the industry and real-world thereafter. My favorite part about the Greek community was the lifelong friendships that were created along the way. My experience at Iowa State would not have been what it was had I not joined Alpha Gamma Rho.”
-C.D.McDermott "2258"

"I lost both my father and grandfather during my senior year due to different health challenges. It was my brothers at AGR that always helped me through those hard times and provided support. I will forever be grateful for those times. I think the best part of AGR is the lifelong friendships that continue after college. My best friends to this day are brothers I lived with in the house. These relationships show the true impact of Alpha Gamma Rho. The bonds and friendships created through AGR last a lifetime and I don't know of a better place I could have lived other than 201 Gray Ave while attending ISU. I am also excited to now serve as the secretary of the ETA Alumni Board, while helping to make decisions that will impact the house in years to come." - Skyler Rinker "2051"
